8am on Boxing Day, and I have already been out for a swim, washed, and had breakfast. It's as though my day is already over.
Anyway, on to random things:
- How a bone disease grew to fit the prescription.
- As of 24 December, the dollar is currently at US 88.16c.
- It's kind of wet at the moment, even more so in the 'gong.
As for me:
- Toohey's disposals is one step closer to reality... I now have another sleeping mat! 450g, self-inflating, 183cm long. Quite good. I think that I can now safely say that I have all the hiking gear that I, and 13456 other people, may need.
- Boyter, any time that you're up for a game of C&C3 just let me know. My notebook should be up for the challenge.
- I'm starting to get a reasonable feel for how to play the flute. The notes are generally clear (enough) and I can at least recognise what I do wrong whenever I (frequently) misread a piece or misplace my fingers. It'll take time, but at least I'm on the path to being able to play an instrument.
Anyway, now I'm off to find something to do... I'm back at work on 4 Jan and I can only swim or play the flute for so long, so the days ahead should be fun.

fwoa when are you starting up a jethro tull tribute band?
Josh
Since early this year. I was quite lucky in that when I mentioned my interest, a work friend indicated that they had a spare flute and some time to offer a lesson or five. So far so good, especially given my advanced age!
No plans for that as yet, Nick. My current goal is to learn how to play the Sailor's Hornpipe before we set out on our next rafting adventure
So...

Sure, I should be good for a game at some point in the next few days. Currently borrowed MW2 from Lil Boyta and getting nailed online.
